Silver Falls

During HN’s visit we took a day trip to Silver Falls. Wow, what an amazing place! It should definitely be moved up in status from being just a State Park. National Monument would suit it better.

I hadn’t been to a place where you can walk around behind the waterfalls before. So cool!

Our hike between waterfalls was very slow, we kept stopping to photograph all the lush green plants and unusual mosses. BN and I recently purchased the same camera that HN got for Christmas, and she was able to give me some tips about using the manual features. I shared some insight about the concepts behind aperture size and shutter speed.
