These socks worked perfectly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a title=\"CozySocks1 by fidget kt, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/15197746@N03\/4955629893\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4152\/4955629893_08d615aa83.jpg\" alt=\"CozySocks1\" width=\"416\" height=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I based these socks on the &#8220;Upstream&#8221; sock architecture from Cat Bordhi\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/New-Pathways-Sock-Knitters-Book\/dp\/B002ENRMPC\/ref=sr_1_4?s=books&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1283797472&amp;sr=1-4\"><em>New Pathways for Sock Knitters<\/em><\/a>. The yarn is <strong>lachesis sock<\/strong>, hand-dyed by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.etsy.com\/shop\/ThreeFatesKnitting\">Three Fates Yarns<\/a> (a friend in Salem.) It&#8217;s listed as 100% merino, but I could swear it has bamboo in it. It&#8217;s silky-smooth and very soft.
