In a large bowl, stir together flour, salt and baking powder. Cut the butter into chunks and work into the flour mixture using a pastry blender until uniformly crumbly and no large chunks of butter remain. Pour in milk and mix until just combined. Drop by 1\/4 cupfuls onto a baking sheet, and bake until lightly browned, 10-12 minutes.
