I checked out your blog (through Ravelry) once, around the time this was posted, and the suggestion of Jane Eyre stuck with me because I’d heard a similar review a few months prior. Now I’ve gotten most of the way through the book, and am quite obsessed with it. I remember trying to read Wuthering Heights several times as a teenager, and it never grabbed me at all… maybe I’ll try again soon just for the comparison. Anyway, thanks for the inspiration!

I so agree with you. Jane Eyre is one of my all-time favorite books. I’ve read it many times. In fact I like all the Bronte books–with the exception of Wuthering Heights, which is way over the top!
