Yesterday morning I made myself a smoothie for breakfast, as I often do - but it turned out really good so I though I’d share.
Strawberry-Lime Smoothie
- about 10 small frozen strawberries (hand-picked and fresh-frozen!)
- a frozen banana
- 2 T limeade concentrate
- 6oz container lime-flavored yogurt
- Soymilk
Place ingredients in blender in the order listed. Pulse to break up the frozen items and blend till smooth, adding soymilk as needed to adjust consistency. Refreshing for breakfast or delicious for dessert.

Hey KT!
I finally got to check out your blog! What fun, you are a delightful writer. I laughed a lot at many of your entries. Anyways, I’ll have to try this smoothie, it sounds delicious!

Hmm sounds yummy. I haven’t had a lot of lime. Do I even know what lime tastes like
? Maybe when your visiting we can make a smoothie for breakfast one time. I’m sure our blender isn’t as snazzy as yours though

Actually, my blender is on it’s last legs. It doesn’t handle big batches very well, and to make matters worse I dropped the container on the kitchen floor (but it was empty!!!) and there’s a big crack in the outer wall (it’s double-walled plastic.) When I get another one I want one with a glass container so it can go in the dishwasher (and I’ll be careful not to drop that one!)
