Definitely better than my spring-loaded tea ball - which I prefer because the tea sits down inside the cup, fully immersed in water. Also better than the mini-mesh-strainers we got from Allann Bros - those are easy to fill with tea but the tea sits above the water unless you fill the cup really full and I like to leave room for milk and sugar in my black tea.
